Warzone Blood Money & Plunder

WHAT IS PLUNDER/BLOOD MONEY IN WARZONE?
Warzone Plunder is a mode where the objective is to loot up as much cash as possible and deposit it through balloons or aircraft. Rather than having the objective of being the last man standing like the Battle Royale mode, the point of plunder is to get as much cash as possible. It is a race to be the first team to gather $1,000,000. Within Plunder you have unlimited respawns, so if you were to be killed you lose a third of the cash that you haven’t deposited. Blood Money is the same as Plunder, but you are guaranteed money with every kill. In regular plunder, every time you get a kill the victim will drop a percentage of their cash. However, if the enemy had no expendable cash (if they have deposited everything that they have, or have just spawned in) you would receive nothing. This is where Warzone Blood Plunder differs. It will reward you with cash for every kill, even if you eliminate someone who has nothing, making for a more aggressive style of Plunder with a lot more kills.

WHY DID ACTIVISION REMOVE PLUNDER AND BLOOD MONEY?
We don't know why Activision would dare remove a mode that is played religiously. Perhaps it was to make room for the mode that a lot of players are complaining about called "Warzone Rumble." Many players enjoyed Warzone Plunder because they could drop right back in after death and rank up guns and classes faster. Also, it nice to not have to rejoin a match or wait for someone to buy you back the whole time. Other players have been complaining on the Activision Forums.

WHEN IS IT COMING BACK?
Fortunately, Plunder & Blood Money will be coming back to Warzone on June 18th. It will be interesting to see if Infinity Ward/Activision decide to keep Warzone Rumble, change it up or replace it with Blood Money + Plunder. It would be nice to see the Warzone Rumble mode reworked with larger maps or just left in the game alongside Plunder + Blood Money. This way, everyone can play what they want. JUNE 18TH UPDATE
Plunder: Blood Money is back in Modern Warfare. Unfortunately, it is only trios, so a group of 4 (quads) can't play together. We hope that Infinity Ward: Activision brings quads into Plunder in the future. We suspect that the trios with plunder are more manageable for most.
